Kia ora Kaleb, It's Thom from Yaldhurst Model School here. I have always wanted to learn another language I just think it would be so cool because then you could go to that country and speak their language, it would make things easier, better and more fun.
How come your class decided to learn a language? And why did they choose Italian?
Personally I have always wanted to learn Dutch because my Grandad is Dutch so I am part Dutch, Also it's great because my Grandad can just teach me since he speaks Dutch, The thing I find most tricky is getting the accent because that is an important part of pronunciation which is important because otherwise they won't understand what you're saying, it'll sound like your speak some random language you made up.
Italian sounds like a really fun language to learn and Italy is such a cool place with all its history and Rome and things. Would Italian be your top choose of a language you want to learn? If not what would be?
Hope you and your class are having lots of fun learning Italian and I hope you're successful with it because then if you go to Italy you could speak to all the people there! Imagine how cool that would be.
