Numeracy

This week for numeracy we did some Problem Solving. We did it on a slide and I found it easy. Here is one example of my work.

This week for reading we did Comprehension Strategy Practice we had to try to answer

This week for writing we had to do a piece of 

description writing about Mrs P. 
WALT: Use fanboys to extend my sentences.

                                cross country

This week for we had cross country i was in the year 6 boys and i herd a loud bang and we were off and we ran are little hearts out i made a we-video on cross country here it is my we-video.

This week for literacy I did a KVL chart about the moon. My WALT was use what we all ready know to help us make sense of what we read. I think the KVL chart helped me get ready for reading as it makes me think about the topic.

This week I also did a book poster about this book that is about a dog burgler. The WALT was to create a poster to persuade others to read the book. We had to use a catchy question and interesting adjectives to get people's attention. Here it is. 

Welcome Back To Term 2

Welcome back to term 2. I am looking forward to this term. In the holidays I got to have 3 weeks of holidays while everyone else only got 2 weeks of holidays.  This was because my mum had to get surgery on her shoulder. Comment what you did in the  holidays.
