T3 W8 reflection,

This week at Technology we have learned about nonferrous and ferrous metals. I have been making a rugby ball out of metal after I had cut it out my tech teacher put a sealer on it I got to paint it.

Nonferrous metal, a magnet can not stick to it but with ferrous metals a magnet can stick to it.

This week we have been learning a lot. Doing topic and maths. here is some of our work.

Maths.

This week we have been learning about making graphs. Will and I made a pie graph about the classes favorite Super Rugby team ahead of the Crusaders vs Lions final on Saturday. Here is our graph. We have also been learning about probability which we will carry on with next week.

Topic

For topic Will, Alex and I have been making a worm farm. It is made out of a sink some four by two wood, some coconut fiber, some soil and some worms.

This week we have just started learning about words showing cause and effect. This is where we show a connection between an action and what that action leads to.

Eg. The fish died as a result of pollution in the water.
